NZ 24 North - Auckland

Thu. Feb. 22nd, 2007: Auckland - City and Long Bay
At the morning we went to Auckland city, fist stopping at the fish market (Fishmart), and after that we walked to the city through Queensstreet, had a lunch at the Mezze-Bar and several aquisitions in different shops. Then we returned (tired) to home, Guenter stayed at bed today and the others went for a swim to Long Bay.

Fri. Feb. 23rd, 2007: Auckland Packing and Long Bay coastal walk, hospital.
At the morning we packed our things for Fiji and California, and after lunch we went together to Long Bay, having a swim there, and then taking a walk along the coast over the reef, Guenter unfortunately slipped at the way back and hurt his hip, so we had to go for a check to the local Medical Centre at Milford for an X-ray (fortunately, nothing broken). Finally, we went home for dinner, where Gerti spoiled us with many good things, ending up with a very delightful Pavlova.
