Since long we did not have such extensive travel plans and our blog activity stopped. We increased our music ambitions a lot both for Choir singing (blog to come) as well as Guenter's Schrammel Group (two violins, one accordeon and Guenter on the old Viennese counter-guitar, plus - for the concert - a young girl as singer). In August 2008 Guenter could give a very successful concert at the castle of Schwarzenberg at Murau, Steiermark, and then decided to do an official CD recording to remember the performances of such fine pieces of Viennese music as 'Im Wiener Dialekt' composed by Johann Schrammel and some well-known old Viennese songs. The CD was produced late december, 2008 and will be presented at an evening in the Wiener Volksliedwerk, Bockkeller, sunday evening April 26th, 2009. I add the images of it here. You can get copies of it at this concert and with the Lanz family.
