US 12 - Camarillo - Los Angeles

Tue. March 13th, 2007: Camarillo - LA Getty Center - Airport Los Angeles
Today we said good bye to Carol and Bill and then drove the highways to Los Angeles, and as planned we still had the day at the Getty Center a bit outside LA. A very impressive architectural monument with many beautiful pieces of art from Europe and other parts of the world, and wonderful gardens. From the Getty we drove to return our rent-a-car to Alamo (we would not recommend this company to our friends). And finally we arrived at the airport, from where - after long and painful security procedures - we got to the airplane departing at 10h30 pm. As it was fully booked, economy class space limits promised not an easy flight, but Lufthansa with its Airbus 340 gave their best service to make it somehow comfortable to us.
