US 10 - Monterey to SAN SIMEON

Sun. March 11th, 2007: Monterey - Aquarium - 17miles-drive - San Simeon
At Monterey we visited the Fishermans Wharf, went on to the Cannery and to the AQUARIUM, where we could see a lot from the sea around, and also Penguins, a big deep-sea-aquarium (27 different kinds of fish), a large-fish-aquarium (sharks, sun fish, tuna, barracuda,...) and much more. Then we continued along the 17-miles-drive with a number of vista points along the Monterey-Pennisula, seeing also seals and birds, to the old Route number 1 along the coast to the South. This Highway is a winding road leading along a very scenic coast, along which we continued until arriving at San Simeon.
